{"id":1032,"date":"2023-02-06T10:17:04","date_gmt":"2023-02-06T02:17:04","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/maersk-north-america-ashdod-port-company-to-collaborate-on-supply-chain-logistics\/"},"modified":"2023-02-06T10:17:04","modified_gmt":"2023-02-06T02:17:04","slug":"maersk-north-america-ashdod-port-company-to-collaborate-on-supply-chain-logistics","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/maersk-north-america-ashdod-port-company-to-collaborate-on-supply-chain-logistics\/","title":{"rendered":"Maersk North America, Ashdod Port Company to collaborate on supply chain logistics"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"max-width:900px; margin:0 auto; background-color:rgb(246,246,246); padding:20px; line-height:25px; text-align: justify;\">\n<p><strong>Ashdod Port Company has signed an agreement with Maersk North <\/p>\n<p>America to collaborate on innovation opportunities in supply chain logistics.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1675648229630229-1.jpg\" alt=\"1671071565939589.jpg\"\/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><br \/><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This announcement came on 1 February.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The agreement enables Israeli startups \u2013 that are participating in Ashdod <\/p>\n<p>Port\u2019s Blue Ocean for Startups technology incubator \u2013 to be considered for pilot <\/p>\n<p>projects in North America.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>This is to test the proposed technologies they have in landside <\/p>\n<p>operations.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The agreement was signed at the Manifest conference in Las Vegas, one of <\/p>\n<p>the largest logistics conferences in the world.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Over 3,000 visitors from 50 countries participated in the conference, along <\/p>\n<p>with 1,000 startups and investors and 250 CEOs from companies such as Schneider, <\/p>\n<p>DHL, and Siemens.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Chairman of the Board, Orna Hozman Bechor, and Chief Innovation Officer, <\/p>\n<p>Roy Avrahami, represented Ashdod Port at the signing.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Maersk was represented by Erez Agmoni, Senior Vice President of Innovation <\/p>\n<p>and Strategic Growth.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis type of collaboration is critical, so we can upgrade the entire <\/p>\n<p>supply chain, the source of the modern global economy, and make it more <\/p>\n<p>efficient. We are excited to collaborate with Maersk in North America,\u201d said <\/p>\n<p>Bechor.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Agmoni stated: \u201cThe pandemic highlighted the importance of supply chains to <\/p>\n<p>constantly improve.
