The Port of Rotterdam and the Port of Shanghai have reaffirmed <\/p>\n

their Memorandum of Understanding (MoU)<\/strong> during the North Bund <\/p>\n

Forum 2022.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"PORTS<\/p>\n

Chen Jining, the Shanghai Party Secretary, attended and presided over the <\/p>\n

forum\u2019s opening ceremony.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Both the Dutch Minister of Infrastructure and Water Management, Mark <\/p>\n

Harbers, and the Chinese Transport Minister, Li Xiaopeng, gave video addresses <\/p>\n

during the opening ceremony.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Allard Castelein, CEO of the Port of Rotterdam Authority, and Yu Fulin, <\/p>\n

Director General of the Shanghai Municipal Transportation Commission, signed an <\/p>\n

online MoU for the purpose of advancing sister port relationships.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Since 2005, the seaports of Rotterdam and Shanghai have been connected by a <\/p>\n

sister port.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The two ports have been working together in port administration, planning, <\/p>\n

the environment, and efficiency for years.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The ports have decided to strengthen their sister port ties and cooperate <\/p>\n

practically to safeguard the environment and streamline port operations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Port of Shanghai is the world\u2019s biggest container port and is this <\/p>\n

year\u2019s busiest port in PTI\u2019s list of \u2018Top 10 Ports in China 2022\u2018.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The Port handled a staggering 39,080,000 TEU in the first 10 months of <\/p>\n
