Vision Energy Corporation is set to provide a project development <\/p>\n

update on the company\u2019s Green Energy Hub in the Port of Vlissingen, <\/p>\n

Netherlands.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"DEVELOPMENT<\/strong><\/p>\n

Through its fully-owned subsidiary Evolution Terminals BV, Vision Energy is <\/p>\n

finishing up the last of the necessary studies to enable submitting permit <\/p>\n

applications under the Dutch \u201cWABO\u201d process.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The first submission date has been targeted for 31 December.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Evolution Terminals is in advanced development of its 16.4 hectare site in <\/p>\n

the North Sea Port of Vlissingen, the Netherlands.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This will be Northwestern Europe\u2019s first import, storage and handling <\/p>\n

terminal designed exclusively for hydrogen carriers, renewable energy products <\/p>\n

and low-carbon fuels.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Phase 1 development plan investment is estimated at EUR \u20ac450 million ($477 <\/p>\n

million) for up to 400,000 CBM of storage for green and low-carbon products and <\/p>\n

fuels.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The project will include investment in a new deep-water jetty, quay wall <\/p>\n

redevelopment, truck and rail loading facilities.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The company is also targeting FID towards the end of 2023.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The application includes the filing of an environmental permit, followed by <\/p>\n

a construction permit application for Phase 1\u2019s 400,000 cubic metres (CBM) of <\/p>\n

capacity.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The latter will be submitted in phases, each of which will be designed in <\/p>\n

accordance with the commercial storage needs for the terminal\u2019s upcoming planned <\/p>\n

expansion of its capacity for green and low-carbon energy products.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The company is on track to submit the comprehensive environmental impact <\/p>\n

assessment, also known as the \u201cMER\u201d or \u201cMilieueffectrapport\u201d in the Netherlands, <\/p>\n

by 31 January, 2023.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Several experts and specialists from Netherlands-based consultancy firms <\/p>\n

have concluded a portfolio of detailed studies to support the final permit <\/p>\n

applications.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Studies have included Spatial Layout, Planning and Design, detailed <\/p>\n

Quantitative Risk Assessments and Safety Reporting, Acoustic and Noise Impact <\/p>\n

Assessments, Air Quality calculations, Water handling, Fire Safety and Pilot <\/p>\n
