{"id":1293,"date":"2022-06-30T16:45:40","date_gmt":"2022-06-30T08:45:40","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/port-of-amsterdam-duisport-sign-agreement-for-green-hydrogen-value-chain\/"},"modified":"2022-06-30T16:45:40","modified_gmt":"2022-06-30T08:45:40","slug":"port-of-amsterdam-duisport-sign-agreement-for-green-hydrogen-value-chain","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/port-of-amsterdam-duisport-sign-agreement-for-green-hydrogen-value-chain\/","title":{"rendered":"Port of Amsterdam, duisport sign agreement for green hydrogen value chain"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"max-width:900px; margin:0 auto; background-color:rgb(246,246,246); padding:20px;line-height:30px\">\n<p><strong>The Ports of Amsterdam and Duisburg (duisport) have signed a <\/p>\n<p>Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to expand their cooperation and jointly <\/p>\n<p>develop a hydrogen value chain and hinterland network.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1656578161400110-1.jpg\" alt=\"Port of Amsterdam, duisport sign agreement for green hydrogen value chain\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%; padding:20px 0px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>Under the agreement, the ports will explore the potential of several <\/p>\n<p>hydrogen carrier technologies, with the aim of establishing an international <\/p>\n<p>supply chain for hydrogen on a commercial scale.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am very pleased to announce the partnership between duisport and Port of <\/p>\n<p>Amsterdam,\u201d said Koen Overtoom, CEO of Port of Amsterdam.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth ports recognise the great value of joining forces in developing new <\/p>\n<p>corridors for sustainable energy carriers, with the aim of decarbonisation of <\/p>\n<p>international supply chains.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis partnership strengthens our strategic initiatives, aimed at taking <\/p>\n<p>the lead in facilitating the energy transition, and complements our strong <\/p>\n<p>collaborations with our trusted partners.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>The Port of Amsterdam is already part of the H2A consortium, which aims for <\/p>\n<p>the import of one million tonnes of green hydrogen to the port and includes <\/p>\n<p>multiple significant players in the hydrogen industry.
