{"id":1319,"date":"2025-12-19T09:16:00","date_gmt":"2025-12-19T01:16:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/study-maps-hydrogen-derivatives-in-baltic-sea-ports\/"},"modified":"2025-12-19T09:16:00","modified_gmt":"2025-12-19T01:16:00","slug":"study-maps-hydrogen-derivatives-in-baltic-sea-ports","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/study-maps-hydrogen-derivatives-in-baltic-sea-ports\/","title":{"rendered":"Study maps hydrogen derivatives in Baltic Sea ports"},"content":{"rendered":"<div style=\"max-width:900px; margin:0 auto; background-color:rgb(246,246,246); padding:20px;line-height:30px\">\n<p>The H2Deri@BSP project has released a comprehensive market analysis <\/p>\n<p>covering hydrogen derivatives across the Baltic Sea Region.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.hajomech.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/10\/1766106593424116-1.jpg\" alt=\"Study maps hydrogen derivatives in Baltic Sea ports\" title=\"Study maps hydrogen derivatives in Baltic Sea ports\" style=\"width: 100%; height: 100%; padding: 20px 0px;\"\/><\/p>\n<p>The report provides an in-depth look at current and projected demand, <\/p>\n<p>production capacities, infrastructure preparedness, regulatory developments, and <\/p>\n<p>the region\u2019s import\u2013export potential.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Drawing on extensive literature reviews, surveys, interviews, and <\/p>\n<p>workshops, the analysis mapped nearly 300 hydrogen-related initiatives \u2013 most of <\/p>\n<p>which are still in planning or feasibility phases.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Findings show that the Baltic Sea Region is gaining momentum in renewable <\/p>\n<p>maritime fuels, but hydrogen derivatives are still in their early stages.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>EU regulations such as FuelEU Maritime, AFIR, and ETS are beginning to <\/p>\n<p>shape the market, but fragmented policies and slow national implementation limit <\/p>\n<p>large-scale deployment.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p>Ports are central to this transition.
