PSA Mumbai, based in Jawaharlal Nehru Port (JNP) in Maharashtra, <\/p>\n

has handled over 2 million TEU in 2023.<\/strong><\/p>\n

\"PSA<\/p>\n

Container volume increased by 30 per cent year-on-year (YoY) throughout the <\/p>\n

year, with the terminal processing over 2,000 container rakes and docking 834 <\/p>\n

ships.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

To commemorate this significant milestone, PSA Mumbai hosted a grand <\/p>\n

celebration on 5 January 2024, attended by esteemed customers, government <\/p>\n

officials, and industry associations.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The terminal has reportedly invested substantially in state-of-the-art <\/p>\n

equipment, advanced digital systems, and training to optimise efficiency and <\/p>\n

productivity.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Phase 2 of PSA Mumbai is anticipated to be operational by the first quarter <\/p>\n

of 2025. This expansion is scheduled to create new opportunities for the <\/p>\n

Export-Import (EXIM) community to leverage the new facilities and support the <\/p>\n

growth of the Indian logistics sector.<\/p>\n

Vincent Ng, PSA\u2019s Regional CEO of Middle East and South Asia, stated: \u201cWith <\/p>\n

a staggering 30 per cent year-over-year growth, PSA Mumbai joined an elite club <\/p>\n

of container terminal models in 2023 after handling 2 million TEU in a single <\/p>\n

year. In addition to its extraordinary expansion, PSA Mumbai has led the way in <\/p>\n

creative and ground-breaking sustainability projects.<\/p>\n

This month, PSA Mumbai reached a significant milestone in its emissions <\/p>\n

reduction path with the commissioning of its 7.8 megawatt (MW) solar farm with <\/p>\n
