Cable carrier manufacturer<\/strong> Tsubaki Kabelschlepp has announced its aim to minimise its CO2 footprint <\/p>\n

before 2045.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The company has reportedly prepared an appropriate package of measures. The <\/p>\n

first savings potentials have been tapped, clear targets and strategies have <\/p>\n

been formulated.<\/p>\n

Henning Preis, President and CEO at Tsubaki Kabelschlepp, explained: \u201cIt is <\/p>\n

our objective to achieve climate neutrality well before 2045.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

\u201cWe accept sustainable actions as our corporate and social responsibility <\/p>\n

and therefore already launched our sustainability initiative several years <\/p>\n

ago.\u201d<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

He explained that it is very important to the company to keep a good <\/p>\n

balance between the three pillars of sustainable actions \u2013 ecology, economy, and <\/p>\n

social aspects.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

According Tsubaki, the company was able to reduce its emissions by 20 per <\/p>\n

cent in Scope 1 and by 100 per cent in Scope 2 between 2018 and 2022.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The total reduction during this period in both categories was 79 per cent, <\/p>\n

which corresponds to CO2 savings of 1,138 tonne carbon dioxide equivalent <\/p>\n

(CO2e).<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

The change from gray electricity to green electricity in early 2022 was a <\/p>\n

substantial factor in this.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

This measure resulted in a reduction of the CO2 emissions by 1,035 tonne <\/p>\n

CO2e. But the annual power consumption itself was also reduced by 13.7 per cent <\/p>\n

during the calculation period.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

Emissions from burning natural gas and fuels was reduced by 20.8 per cent <\/p>\n

compared to 2018. Large scopes of the emissions in scope 3 were already recorded <\/p>\n

and integrated in the current site analysis.<\/p>\n

<\/p>\n

In June 2023, Tsubaki Kabelschlepp introduced its heavy-duty cable carriers <\/p>\n
